Set against the backdrop of wartime London, Twelfth Night: 1941 follows a troupe of actors whose theater has been reduced to rubble and who choose, against all odds, to stage a show anyway. The play weaves together the world of the 1941 performers with the characters of Shakespeare's own Twelfth Night, each actor in the company stepping into a role that mirrors their own story of resilience, longing, and joy.
The staged reading will feature the following cast, listed alphabetically: Samantha Blinn as Ann / Maria, Valentine & Officer Sheldon Donenberg as George / Sir Andrew & Priest Tim Dowdas Lee / Antonio & Sea Captain Kaileela Hobby as Betty / Olivia John Maddaloni as Charlie / Sir Toby Kelly Pekar as Alice / Sebastian Chad Pierre Vann as Nigel / Orsino Eli Wassertzug as Katherine / Viola Lake Wilburn as John / Feste Dan Wilson as Ronald / Malvolio.
