Living Room Reading Series
Twice a month, we get together in the living room to read a play out loud. Anyone - actors, playwrights, directors, or producers, can suggest a play, and we read everything from new works, to established popular works, to works in development, to classics.
These readings are the lifeblood of Living Room Productions. Many of the plays we hear here end up becoming full productions or staged readings.
Who the Living Room is For:
Actors who want to connect with other artists in an intentional, informal setting
Playwrights who want to hear their works out loud in a low-pressure, friendly environment
Directors and producers who want to hear a play read aloud, especially if it's something you’re considering directing or producing
House Rules:
Readings are invite only, signing up does not guarantee a spot on the roster
Due to space constraints, readings are limited to no more than 12 people
Readings are a potluck style event, everyone brings a snack or beverage to share
